The benefits of having salts in your bath are numerous, drawing toxins out of the skin whilst it absorbs the minerals at the same time.
If using the regular bath salts, a handful of salts can be poured into the bath as it runs.
If using salts with botanicals then pour a handful of the mix into a cotton bag. Either tie the bag around the warm water tap and let the water flow through it, or put the bag into the bath under the stream of water. Once bath is drawn, put the bag into the water to let the remaining salts dissolve and allowing the botanicals to infuse. After bathing, squeeze the excess water from the bag, open and dispose of the botanicals (they can be composted). Rinse out the bag and dry ready for next time. If you do not have a cotton bag available then an old, clean sock, tied in a knot after putting the salts into it can be used instead.
